(More customer reviews)I purchased this as a gift for my mother. She has an iPod Nano 3rd Generation that she only listens to while driving. She has a lot of audiobooks on the Nano, but she would rather not walk around the house with her headphones on to listen, so I thought I'd pick this up for her so that she could listen at home (instead of just in the car). It was priced right and I thought I couldn't go wrong with an iHome. Every hotel I frequent seems to have an iHome and it sounds great! I bought a few different iHomes as gifts to my brother and daughter - and both are very happy.
The box comes with the speakers, power adapter, audio cables, sync cable, ipod adapters, and color customizations. It was very simple to set up. When her Nano is in the iHome, it charges by default. You can either have this set plugged in, or choose to operate on batteries. We chose to plug it in.
The system looks very modern and sounds pretty decent for a smaller set. We definitely got MORE than our money's worth on this. We are very happy with this purchase and recommend this set.
