(More customer reviews)I have this system installed on my Harley, which has the typical loud exhaust. The speakers are mounted in my 1/4 cafe fairing as is the amp. The wiring is straight forward and an easy install. I have checked and never felt the amp to get hot. The amp powers these speakers very well and I can hear the mids and highs of the music while cruising at 85mph on the freeway. Being that these are only 3" speakers, there is basically no bass, just mids and highs, which is ok because the bass would just get lost with the exhaust noise. I have this system hooked up to a Sansa Fuze (Ipod clone). These are great little MP3 players that have a very decent FM radio. Anyway, this set-up works and I would definitely buy it again if needed. The only warning is that the provided speaker mounts are useless for motorcycle use. You will need to fabricate your own if you want a traditional handlebar mount.
