(More customer reviews)These speakers are small, and so they are designed to fit very small spaces and work as computer speakers for basic, everyday use. Right? Yeah, I think if you want something greater for extreme gaming or booming bass then you need to look elsewhere. These are pretty much bottom of the line Altec Lansing, and for the purpose they were designed for, they work great. They do have good bass and respond well to sound you put through them for a small room or deskspace atmosphere. No, they wont fill a room with astounding vibrations and blow you away, but the quality of sound for a small desk space is very nice. They will get distorted at higher volumes, but if you have a small deskspace, how often are you really going to blast your music? I have been impressed with Altec Lansing for their products, and because these speakers work well for the reason they were made, I give them 4 solid starts. Not 5 because they aren't the BEST speakers out there, but they deserve 4.
