hooked 'em up to my MP3 player. looks good, sounds good, easy to use. these are not super-fancy speakers but the sound quality is very good for speaker this size n price. i would say it sounds on par with my friend's X-240 for most of the audios i listened to. The wooden cabits make the sound "warmer" and "richer" overall. It's quite pleasant to listen to these.
However, what i really DON'T like is they lack dedicated drivers for the high frequencies, so my music sounds flat on the high notes compared to other higher-end 2.1 speakers (more expensive of course...) I had to use my MP3's built-in EQ to compensate for this, not the best solution but it works.
