My 11 year old son recently saved all his money to buy this cd system, and love you all. It was easy to keep the connection, is compact enough to keep the unit and speakers together, or may extend the speakers to spread the sound a bit more. She loves having a remote control, and can only stay in bed and flip through radio stations or CD tracks. I love that she has a timer, allowing you to fall asleep listening to music again, but it turns off automatically after a preset time. The volume control is very progressive. Many systems (actually) is hard or soft, and hard to find in the meantime. This has a number, something like 10-50, and is becoming harder or softer! From our room is right next door, we were able to compromise and find a real volume number is the limit to avoid having to listen to their songs all night. We are all very happy with it.
