(More customer reviews)There is a few confusing reviews that made me unsure if I wanted to get these, I decided to get them and see for myself. The one review that perplexed me the most was the one talking about "external speakers" or something like that. These headphones don't leak any sound out, unless your blaring them but that is also true to all headphones. The other review was the confusion of how to get the battery (it takes one triple a) in, I cleared that up with the images that I uploaded. The right cup twists open to the left to let you put the battery in. On to the actual review of the headphones.
Sound Quality;
The headphones have very good sound quality overall; good high, medium, and low tones. The bass is perfect to, it is not to over powering and it is by no means underpowered. If you play techno or hip-hop you get just the right bass to not overpower the higher treble notes in the song. No equalizer is needed to make these headphones sound excellent, they do that on there (not equalizer, sounding good).
Headphone Quality;
I wear these headphones in my studio to block out the noise of other people and their music, so I wear them for quite some time. Over the course of 4 hours I noticed no discomfort at all. The physical quality of the headphones seems slightly above average. They are constructed of rigid plastic, fake leather, and metal. They are certainly not the most robust headphones out there, but they could take a fall or two. The headband on top is very comfortable and has just the right amount of padding to make it comfortable without being overly huge.
Sound Canceling Ability;
There is not much to praise about them in this aspect. They are sub-par compared to boss or other more expensive ones; these are 40 dollars, boss are 300 so you get what you pay for. They cancel out other music on speakers, cars driving by, and other random noises. They make other people talking sound very very quiet. With music playing it is even harder to hear anything else. Also there is no static or hissing what so ever.
Accessories;
These headphones come with a very nice semi-hard case that holds the other accessories along with the headphones. In the pictures I uploaded it shows the case in more detail. As for the quality of case itself, it is decently constructed and is pretty tough. The inside of the case is a much softer felt like material where as the outside is made of material they make camera cases out of. The case should last for quite some time. The other things that are included is the airplane adapter, the headphone cable, and a stereo adapter.
Other Things;
The headphone cable that it comes with has a 90 degree bend on one end and is straight on the other. You can plug in either end into the headphones, it is your choice. The sound canceling does not to be on to play music either, but it does improve the sound quality a little. The removable cable is nice for when you want things quieter without music; you can just unplug the cable and put the headphones on and turn on the sound canceling.If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask me via a comment or message. Battery life;
The battery life for sound-canceling is amazing. I usually have them on for hours every day and just had to change it yesterday. So the battery, on heavy usage, will last months and months.
UPDATE: Durability;
I am sad to inform you that these finally broke on me and I can no longer use them anymore. The little plastic pieces connecting the top band to the ear cups started to break little by little till it finally broke and now they look like rubbish and I can walk around with headphones that are missing plastic on them, its a cosmetic issue though and has no effect on the sound quality at all. I have switched to Phillips Stretch headphones now, feel free to check out my review of those if your interested.
