(More customer reviews)I got these speakers on the Dell Daily Deal for less than ten dollars. They consist of two speakers about two inches in diameter, that are mounted inside tall plastic boxes. The right speaker has a volume control on top, which is nice. The volume control has an on/off switch, but no power light. These speakers increase the sound from my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop so that I'm able to watch movies without straining to hear. The sound is a little "boomy," but this can be helped if you use the graphic equalizer function in Windows Media Player. At max volume, loud music or action sequences are distorted somewhat. Overall it was a good purchase, but don't expect to fill your house with high end music. Good for the price I paid, but I wouldn't spend $20 or $30 on them.
