(More customer reviews)Exactly as you'd expect it to work. This is a great tool for things like internal video capture cards which usually use the 1/8 stereo input. This allows me to connect up the standard RCA White/Red cables into it. The sound is mixed down. So that it essentially becomes mono. I expected as much. It is analog. But thats much better then losing the right or left channel. It is a very small component and not very flexible. Actually I preferred that. I already have a ton of wires behind my computer. I don't want anything else dangling down. So this worked out well for convenience. Audio Quality is probably as good as your gonna get with something like this. I highly recommend it.
